Open seven days per week, weather permitting. The Swan Boats cannot operate on rainy, windy, or extremely hot days.
The Swan Boats driver paddles passengers around the Public Garden Lagoon for a 15 minute peaceful cruise.
Animals (except Seeing eye dogs) are not permitted.
The Swan Boats are wheelchair accessible.

Spring (April to June 20) 10 am to 4 pm
Summer (June 21 to Labor Day) 10 am to 5 pm
Fall (After Labor Day) 12 pm to 4 pm Weekdays
10 am to 4 pm Weekends
Adults $2.75
Children $1.50 (age 2 to 15 years)
Seniors $2.00
Location, Transportation & Parking
The Swan Boats are located in the Boston Public Garden - 24 acres bound by Arlington, Boylston, Charles and Beacon Streets.
The MBTA Green Line Arlington Station is the closest "T" stop. From this stop, it is approximately a four minute walk through the Public Garden.
Boston Common Underground Parking Garage on Charles Street is the closest parking garage. Parking meters are available on the surrounding streets. Hotel and other parking garages are also in the area.
Group Rates
Group rates are available Monday through Friday for groups of 20 or more who arrive together and make a single payment (cash or check). We do not accept reservations, as it is impossible for us to guarantee a specific time for a Swan Boat ride. All groups must wait in the line (if one exists).
We ask that groups of 20+ call one week in advance to be added to our Groups List. We do not send group confirmations. We begin taking information for groups after April 1st.
Weekdays from mid-May until the end of June we are very busy with school field trips between the hours of 10 am and 1:30 pm. Groups must be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes for a ride during this time.
We do make exceptions for certain small groups, such as those with severe handicap, the elderly, and or others who are unable to stand in a line.
Rates (for groups of 20 or more):
Adults $2.50
Children $ 1.00 (age 2 to 15 years)
